ultrabooks peaked with haswell
since then all we've had are:

>shitty surface pro ripoffs with core Ms
>macbook 11 ripoffs which perform worse than 2015 laptops and have less features.
What happened to the vaio pros, zenbook infinities and other unique ultrabooks. Everything is just a clone of apple of microsoft now.

Tell me about it. In the peak of Ultrabooks even the Acer Aspire S series were tanks with awesome build quality and top of the line specs. This is Acer we are talking about!
Both Asus and Acer nowadays have crappy hinges and weak-ass lids that might snap with little torsion.
