why are programming chats so cancer?
anything you do people are autism level 9999 and don't help you
poor doggo probably just wants pets
I remember being in #c on freenode and been belittled for not understanding something.

I've experienced this from time to time and I think it's just because there's no good way to segment the n00bs from the pros and sometimes they annoy each other.
because programmers are people who were bullied mercilessly in high school. learning programming was only an outlet to feel like they can control something. they have become submissive betas who have learned an incredibly difficult skill but are still in unending submission to middle manager morons. railing on a newbie in an irc chat is the only time they can feel like they have any sort of control over their social situation

the C people are extremely ill, they must have serious self esteem issues. but every other room is almost as bad.. why can't there just be a nice programming chat?

Rust beginners IRC is the most friendly and mature channels I have ever seen,
Problem with #c is, C being a beginners' language it attracts edgy pre teens that just learned how to write hello world tier projects (99% if C toddlers in /g/)
