Got hyped into using emacs

After one week, my left hand pinky felt sore and cramped.

Works for me.©
Emacs is vastly inferior to vim, and you should really only use vim if you can't find a proper three-button mouse for chording acme.

Vim user here who just started using Emacs for ReStructuredText because no other editor supports it well.

just don't look back
the autism is chasing you and it's catching up
>>59131841
Well, emacs might be my autism limit.
I rice my desktop, I used arch then gentoo, I've read sicp despite not being in CS (officially it was by intellectual curiosity but deep down I wanted to impress strangers on the web), I've felt for the used thinkpad and soon I'll become a glorified rubberdomes keyboard fag.
But man, the switch from vim to emacs is harsh.

You're basically me but I decided to predefine my autism levels and never look back.
Gentoo, Debian and Emacs for loif
I own SICP and appreciate the beauty of LISP but you won't find me reciting pages from memory (not even CS yet my work requires a specific niche of programming)
The key is to draw the line and not let yourself wander beyond

Well, if I drew the line 10years earlier I'd be stuck using Ubuntu with compiz's wobbly windows. Autism should evolve.
