literally the best client you can get
both for desktop and seedbox (qbittorrent-nox) usage
prove wrong
pro tip: you can't
>qbittorrent-nox
What shit distro are you using
stalled
>>59127813
t. debian :^
tixati is the only proprietary application on my computer
its better than this shit
this bitch can't even tell when I have downloaded an episode already and will download literally the same episodes no matter how many times it pops on the rss
one day i'm gonna check how all the clients deal with extreme torrenting and see which one will survive
>>59127800
Facts.
>>59127829
Stale bait.
>>59127832
You can set it to stop looking for episodes for a set amount of time after downloading one. Short of that, make better filters or a more exact RSS feed.
>>59127838
good luck with that
don't forget to set up some virtual swarm as well so you don't get biased results k
>>59127860
i'm sorry that you didn't get my post at all
>libtorrent-rasterbar trash
No thanks.
>>59127838
I wish someone would do that and document it so we'd stop with the memeing
>what is utorrent 2.2.1
>>59127858
their rss sucks, period, that's why I'm still using utorrent 2.2.1. They care so little about it, and they claim to be a program for power users. give me a break
>>59127800
>not transmission

>>59127800
dunno wtf is that, utorrent 2.2.1 doing all shit i need just fine, fuckoff n00b

never happened to me, but i suppose it just says stalled when there are no peers available
i wish i could drop ut 2.2.1 because of some annoying bugs but i can't find any good alternative
Basically all the good tools use libtorrent so running this or another libtorrent tool, at the lowest level is not that different, but I do like qbittorrent because it's using a lightweight version of a Qt environment, it's GPL and it does have nice "pseudo-streaming" features on the current video downloaded.
what is wrong with deluge
>>59128001
GTK
>>59128001
Very little is different technologically, they use the same library to actually download torrents. I wonder, does Deluge support "streaming" the first part of a torrent only?
>>59128001
should be fine, it uses the same glorious libtorrent-rasterbar
the thing is it's written in python so the performance will likely be sub par when compared to some other client running on the same hardware
They could get a good artist to make the interface prettier though, nothing wrong functionally but it does look a bit 2004 right now.
>>59128034
two things are true in life. devs don't care about aesthetics and whores don't care about lumber
>>59127932
>>59127951
There was a widespread bug where it got stuck on stalled that the devs couldn't reproduce for many years. It's supposedly fixed now.

>>59128104
I bet you are not even 24.
I was told the qbittorrent don't respect the proxy settings sometimes, and make direct connection to tracker.
is it true?
>>59128172
I'm older than that but I don't see what does that have to do with anything. Even if I was 18 I'd still be too old for this shit

>>59127818
LMAO
>>59127951
>>59127932
>>59127918
Literally everytime while connectiong with low number of peers that are not seedbox, i.e. bigger latency, qBit decides to stall the torrent instead of properly connecting to peers.
qBit also does not show correct amount of peers most of the time. Also cannot seed more than 3-4 torrents at a time, out of the 80+ active torrents.
Trust me uTorrent 2.2.1 is far better. Tixati is better yet
>>59127903
>too bad it's banned on a couple of private trackers
lmao. which ones. its allowed on all the ones i'm on. (yes, that includes *** :^))
>>59127800
qbittorrent is very good but they need to give you a way to add a rss feeds through the webui. This makes it unusable as a seesbox for me.
>>59128047
kek
>>59127885
>what is utorrent 2.2.1
Poorly optimized for modern hardware such as SSDs, I/O issues and riddled with known and unknown bugs and exploits.

I use RSS to download all my shows and I literally never had this problem.
>>59129366
could be the way you do it. I have different rss sources that sometimes provide the same episode, and qbittorrent downloads all of them.
>>59127800

Thanks for proving you're blind, now we know that your opinion is completely irrelevant.
Good luck in real life getting your wallet stolen.
so why is it slower than utorrent?
rtorrent > *
>>59129939
This. uTorrent even tells me it's fast and that it's installing toolbars and showing ads to make things even faster.
How can OP's trash even compete?
