Can I remove dvd drive from my laptop and install a second hdd on it? I finally god rid of my desktop but 1tb of space on my new laptop seemed absurd to me. I want to install 2 2tb hard drives.

There are HDD bays that mount in the DVD drive. Look it up somewhere.

Yes you can, find a drive caddy that fits the model of your laptop and it's a relatively painless process
