Worth a try. Disassemble, figure out how the mechanism was supposed to work, figure out why it's not actually working, determine whether a practical and reliable fix is possible, implement it if there is, reassemble, test, replace the mouse if it's still bad.

Had this same issue. The button would sometimes work again for a few weeks if I just tried to clean it a bit but it eventually went completely out
Since its a fairly expensive mouse just look up how to replace the buttons in it
