How do I program more efficiently /g/?
I need to focus more time on uni and other projects, but I don't want to stop my programming projects either. I'm using Emacs right now, and my big project right now is written in C++.
I think i'm building the code and testing it too often, so i'm downgrading to a Raspberry Pi so builds are more deliberate (and I can't justify drawing 200W of power constantly). Any ideas, programs, time management solutions, or anything really would be appreciated.

put something like this into your .bashrc filealias done='play ~/ping.wav'
slap it on the end of long bash commands and return to your computer when it is done. work on something else while you wait
Your problem is you're using fucking emacs.
Jesus christ does it even have auto complete?
