I just went and changed all my passwords just to be sure. No harm when using a password manager
It would be amazing if websites would have a universal API for logins. That would make things like password resets so much easier.

Untill it gets breached.

that sounds awful
I'm taking this as an occasion to change all my passwords.
What's a good open source password manager I can use on both windows and linux to handle that?

You don't understand what he means.
It'd be nice if there were a standardised way to say, POST to https://<website>/changePassword, with {"user": "anon", "password":"hunter2", "newpassword" : "hunter3"}. If that were standardised over a lot of websites then you could just use a script to change all your passwords really easily.
