It does. What, you think they designed two separate memory controllers when they could just validate one? Intel are the ones that artificially differentiate features per-SKU, AMD almost never have.

What you probably won't have in many cases on the motherboard side (except on server boards designed for Naples) is support for registered DIMMs, so you'll need unbuffered DDR4 ECC, and an X370 motherboard with caps in the right places. Don't know about the lower chipsets.
