So /g/, I am decent at programming. Currently studying CS and Im in my turd year.I feel like I've hit a plateau regarding programming concepts. What should I do to further my understanding of programming practices, algorithms, concepts etc? Build my own compiler? Get involved with the linux kernel? Whaddya suggest? How did you get good at programming and how did you grasped deeper concepts? Kys myself is not an option, yet.
What are you looking for with this thread? It sounds like you have some good ideas already when it comes to skill development, are you just looking for validation here?
