Im sure this has been discussed before but i just now thought of it.
Are these captcha codes helping google make better AI recognition
They're used for labeling data sets, which are used in machine learning.

Yes. It's the entire point behind captcha. Google needs people to verify machine predictions and so they use captchas to ensure the majority of people agree with their machine.
Remember that the ones that have obviously ill-fiting images (black cropping) are the recognition images and the proper ones are the captcha images
So, like back in operation renigger, you can fuck with captcha by putting in bad input
These don't show up in every captcha you do tho
The old capcha definitely uses data from street view.

Pic related, if you select everything but the stairs or just hit skip it still accepts it.

I never got this. Did people really think a company like google didn't think to restrict user input for offensive language? Did people really think if 4chan users inputted "nigger" in every text captcha they did that somehow the word "nigger" would appear in other people's captchas?

1. It was started by /b/ and they don't think
2. It was more about denying useful info than misleading google
3. It's quicker to type a muscle memory word with no thinking than to read and type (I usually just hit two or three keys)

I just do it because it's faster
