Humans are beings which can not be repaired from extremely traumatic conditions, I guess that could turn out to not be the case in a future where a true AI is a thing because developing that would require us to expand our knowledge about the human by a long margin thus leading to more advanced medical treatments.

Well censorship exists for a reason. When a government censors something it's definitely bad but private companies censoring something is hard to really argue about. Private companies only do it because of the marketplace says that's the best course of action, they don't do it because they want to.

Academia had a tighter definition to AI that had to do with replicating human thought with the limiting means of a computer but like I said, these days it's just anything that makes decisions from large datastreams. That's too loose of a definition of AI since it falls into the broader definition of general programs.

If the site has expended resources to create a comment section (which a lot of the time is not hosted by the site, but it's actually a third party service) then it should let it be used as intended.

If they only want a certain kind of opinions or comments being in there, they should be upfront about it, starting by not saying it's a section to discuss the article.

And I don't know, can they really if you aren't being loud? If in the US companies were given the right to operate in whatever manner they pleased then I could see that, but as far as i'm aware they aren't. Hence why that whole wedding cake thing was a big deal a few years ago.
