Motorola was great until Lenovo bought them. Their phones are ugly and barely get any updates.

My g4plus is great and I'd recommend it as the best phone in it's pricerange short of a used old flagship or /CSG/ tier chinkphone.
The G3 is also very good if you want something smaller, and the E2 is still THE phone for parents who don't use the camera.
