People are truly fucking clueless and ignoring, saying "cinnebench doesn't mean anything, wait for real benchmarks.."
You dumbfucks do know what cinnebench is, right? What kind of load it puts on the CPU? What it tests, right? Hell no, you're dumb as falling rocks and proud of it.
Cinnebench is Intel's favorite benchmark, AMD doing equal and better to Intel on it just means Intel is in deep shit until they respond and people who actually know how software functions know this, holy shit people Cinnebench got actually SUED a few years back for unfairly optimizing for Intel systems to make them look better than they are.
http://sharikou.blogspot.com/2009/12/ftc-accuses-intel-of-rigging-benchmarks.html
AMD doing the same in a Intel favored benchmark simply means AMD will do much better in loads where AMD's architecture is notably stronger.
Getting giddy because your Delidlake scores 15 points higher in cinnebench at higher clocks of all things means you're quite short sighed, just wait for actual game benchmarks in less than a week.
You know, those benchmarks that really love high throughput integer units and L2 cache?
This meltdown over the last 24 hours is nothing you Intelfags will experience in less than a week.
Moore's law died with the first dual core CPU. CPUs are by definition serial machines, you can't claim it's 100% faster by just shoving more cores, like the CPU fiascos of AMD.
I know, "that's not what it means", it doesn't matter, it's how the marketing of Intel passed it eventually to mean.
Shoving more cores only has true meaning in GPUs, not CPUs.

You can never get away without single-thread performance on CPU, whatever Intel or AMD claims. You could get away if all you are doing is offline non-interractive software like pure encoding or pure recording, and simple stuff like that. When you have an interractive application, you MUST have a global loop and that global loop MUST be protected with a ton of mutex locks that IS what will never make a CPU that just shoves slower cores into it not be a problem.
but you don;t get it.... it has 1 point less in single threaded performance........
FUCKING AMD SHILL

repeat after me
AMD will not divide us
AMD will not divide us
AMD will not divide us
AMD will not divide us
AMD will not divide us
Thatr rights goy...

Are you using a Bentium 4? No? Then shove it.
