it's what happens when your entire workforce is comprised of sheltered college kids.
It's probably a symptom of startup culture. Everything has to be "cool" and "hip" but its all actually written by some suit who doesn't know what he's doing.
dont worry this is lots of fields today.
What are some typical interview programming tests theyll dish out ? I wanna practice.

Let's Notes are sold worldwide as Toughbooks.
Those computers can definitely survive the Third Impact.
>graduating
>apply for a role at a small, expanding company
>tell me they may be able to make a role for a graduate
>phone interview and in person interview go great
>rejected because they found someone who could start right away
If only there had been some kind of way for them to know this before I spent a week's budget on travelling to the interview

Let's Note is a different line from toughbook with different quality standards but both are still great in quality
I've been drooling for an RZ5 for a while

It balances out with the job environment and benefits.
Or would you rather work retail for a similar salary..?
>>59082866
Both sectors are going down the shitter anyway so it's choosing between two bad options.
Much better to become a corporate meme with CS background. Chase some specialized niche. IT is a broad field with the loose definitions everyone throws around but most of it is miserable. In the post industrialized market IT is going to slowly go down the same path that manufacturing did. The market will saturate with workers in the future

it's a CSey role anyway I just wanted to whine
>>59083026
I just wanted to bitch at the delusionals that think 300K starting belongs to anyone that clicked on a Java IDE for four years
Not saying you're one of them

Would you rather prefer:
NORMIES GET OUT REEEEEEEEEE!
>>59082766

>>59083065
I can't tell if you're exaggerating but who tf does 300k starting anywhere? Sub 90k starting for 4 years of fucking around on IDEs is trash tier now though.
