You want to know why desktop linux will always be a meme? Design. No one in the community pays any attention to ui or ux. "Open source" software is a complete shitshow usually made by some monkey highschooler.

Elementary recognized that and created a cohesive desktop paradig. Pantheon is amazing.

I did for a while, ended just making a Hakintosh tho.

I don't know what that is, but I'm a macfag that will switch to Linux if Apple doesn't get their act together in the next couple of years on their pro laptops.

I use system76 servers and may switch to one of their laptops even though they're butt ugly.

I'd rather stick with apple though.
