A lot of the "tweaks" are just amateur hacks, either just blocking hosts (which don't work) or fucking away at system files.

Windows will always find a way around your shitty tweaks. Of course it is good to have as much privacy as you can, but using Windows and expecting privacy is like pissing in the town fountain and expecting privacy.
