Theres no way anything web can survive if it cant be used for mobile.

Basically ... the same fucking thing although i suspect that every desktop related stuff will become the secondary solution/option and inferior to anything run on mobile.

Lets say you have stuff like Netflix ... it will eventuall become a fully mobile device optimated streaming platform and people on a destkop will ahve to deal with this garbage since they make up 20% of the user base then etc etc

It was always Steve Jobs intention to not have app and run the web 'like an app' thats why he didnt like the Apps memes (at first).

Google is quickly moving towards a world in which you dont need apps anymore.
