why did it happen /g/? Last time I've opened it with no issues and since then didn't mess with a file. What do now?
>>59051435
recover from a backup.
you surely have a backup of your keypass database, right?
>>59051435
Cosmic rays, HDD corruption/failure, niggers ...
Many things can cause it. Do as >>59051470 says and you will be fine.
>>59051470
no I don't. any idea what could cause it? I didn't mess with the kdb file, didn't change the password either. what could be the reason of the sudden malfunction?
>>59051512
read this >>59051494
>>59051512
>using KeePass
>not backing up the database
you don't belong here
some ppl have to learn it the hard way
>>59051512
>no I don't.
>>59051512
>no I don't
kek, you dopey cunt, now you know why you should back your shit up.
>>59051512
>no I don't.
Then you really deserve whatever you get.

Better get to resetting your passwords! And next time, back up your fookin' database.
>>59051512
>no I don't.
>>59051435
Realize the poor choice you've done and start using veracrypt
>>59051512
Thanks for reminding me to backup op. my old backup was one month old.
I hope you learned your lesson.
>not using a pen, paper and a safe
>>59054030
My nigga, I also backup once a month ;)
And this is why you use LastPass
Lmao freetards
>>59054091
>lastpass
>use it for years
>suddenly one day it just stops accepting the master password
>apparently this is good
no
>>59051512
OP, I don't backup alot of my (non-important) files either, but you must surely realize that your password safe requires backup no?
>>59051435
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
>>59054056
>house burns down
>niggers steal melted safe
pls
>>59051512
Well guess you are going to have to consider this a painful lesson in why keeping backups is actually important.
is keepass the best pw manager?
looking for one
right now I use pen/paper in a locked drawer
>>59055060
It depends how you define best. Keepass is effectively an 'offline' password manager as you keep the database local (just remember and make backups unlike OP.) If you prefer online managers LastPass or something would suit. For myself, I trust nothing on the "cloud".
>>59051512
>no i don't
I am laughing out loud at your stupidity.
>>59055108
What's the difference between the regular KeePass and the KeePass x?
>>59055108
Thanks, I think i'll go with keepass
>>59051512
This is why you should always back up and also, remember the email passwords too, just in case.
feels good right now as a lastpass user
>>59054091
>use lastpass
>raided by the fbi
>have everyones passwords
No.

Here's a couple pages with info:

yes
Guys what are some good plugins/extensions for keepass2? Something to make it easier to store, like an autosave or autofill for browsers and programs
>>59055898
keepassx
>>59055189
>feels good right now as a lastpass user
aren't you a good goy
>>59054091
I'm never storing my passwords online, encrypted or not.
