they'll do the job fine, maybe not as efficient as later core2/nehalem gear you can get at the same price point but if $5 a month really fucks with your budget you should probably be working on getting better employment instead of micromanaging your ratio on oppaitime

you'd be much better off putting that $20 toward one of the ultra low power atom/celeron boards... it would pay for itself in electricity alone
