I have what might be a simple question to a programmer. I just want to know in general what the better option is. Concerning input latency is it better to be rendering 120 FPS with pre-rendered frames (FlipQueueSize) at the default value of 3 or only 60 FPS with pre-rendered frames at 1? Would one have a competitive edge over the other or is any difference not significant whatsoever?

Basically the higher your frame rate is the lower input latency should be. However changing pre-rendered frames to 1 causes the frame rate to drop as there are less buffered frames. So in this scenario is there any benefit of running 60 FPS with pre-rendered frames 1 over 120 FPS with pre-rendered frames 3?
