How to install very specific updates
>have win 7 pro
>shit just works
>have other win 7 pro
>same shit wont work
Difference: one has 200 something updates, the other has 3.
Automatic updates doesn't do shit besides max off a core and burn battery for literally weeks.
I need a batch file to install an update which Ill call from another batch file with the list of updates I want.
I am going to need this for several machines which is why Im taking this approach.
Does anyone have this type of a script already made? The stuff that shows up on google is for installing all updates and some other fuckery, this is not what Im trying to do though it might be the end result.

Just checked it out, its an executable. Im looking to find a batch file or power shell script using a built in windows program that I can call like:wusa /uninstall /KB:3080149 /norestart
The above is used in the remove win10 shit script.
I tried calling wusa and some variants of wusa /install but it seems to require that each of the updates files already be downloaded

just lost everything I typed so this is the short version:
Thanks for the help. The KB3138612 update got my laptop with the normal win7 200 sum updates which is where I needed that.
I need to unfuck a pos7 updater also, Ill try this update on that tomorrow to see if its compatible.
If I cant find that batch file Im looking for or some way to make it Ill either download all the updates and archive them or see what the windows api has to offer and maybe slap something together in C.
Thanks again.
If the thread is still open tomorrow Ill update.

You can bring down that amount to something about ~15 or less if you dont have Office installed.
How to in a few steps:
1) KB3020369
2) KB3125574
3) KB3172605
4) Reboot
5) NDP462-KB3151800-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU
6) Check for updates

Britec has a nice tutorial on how to do this all manually, take around 15 minites, but if you really hate Windows 10, it's worth it.
