Arch, just gets "out of my way", so I can focus on my slim IDE that takes up my whole screen(I use a tiling WM) making it much easier to bang out artisnal code.

I would use Gentoo but my time is just too valuable, in fact I have moved to using a Tiling WM just to maximize my productivity.
