T420s come with a max 1600x900 screen, its problem is not about the resolution its the eye cancer viewing angles and non-existent color. There still a good laptop for cheap if you can get past that

are you in a hurry? else id say wait for the next sale, i got a nice asus with an i3 and 250 gig ssd and a 1080 screen for 200-250 ish dollars on black friday.
