There is an entire subset of essential nutrients consisting of various minerals. We literally need them to survive. If you are afraid of getting too much then avoid foods which contain large quantitieis.
>>
>>59017395
It really doesn't though. Leave tap water and bottled water in a glass for 12 hours and you will see that both the glasses will remain unstained (unless your tap water truly is 3rd world tier)

>>59017409

>>
>>59017409
This is incorrect. The process of distillation (what you just described) will eave behind any minerals which do not evaporate at the same temperature used to evaporate the water (in this case "room temperature")

>>

the hardness of water is a regional variable, not something you can attribute to an entire country.

cursory google search says that the relationship between kidney stones and hard water is unsure.
>>
>>59017463
>calcium, copper, magnesium, sodium, zinc
>bad
You went full potato

Medical science proves that we need at least 10 different essential minerals, half of which are found in substantial amounts in water. Regardless of how much water you drink, the majority of these minerals will be consumed in the form of food. Are you going to stop eating food now too? Fucking retard.
>>
>>59017452
Portugal's and Spain's water is also really bad, completely filled with lime cause they over recycle it.

>>
>>59017494

So you are afraid of minerals. Good job retard. Our bodies are well equipped to process minerals as many of them are essential nutrients used as neurotransmitters in our brains. Providing evidence of minerals in water is not the same thing as providing evidence that the minerals are harmful.

>It's exactly what happens to your kidneys too
Except that's not true and there is no evidence that is true

Unless you can provide evidence or at least name a specific substance in the water that is known to exist and to be harmful, then you are retarded and need to shut the fuck up. Take a minute to learn how the scientific method works. At your current step in the scientific method, you only have a hypothesis (and not a very good one either). It is not even a theory yet.

Studies showed that smoking tobacco was bad for you ever since they started researching it. It's just that the tobacco industry paid doctor's and (mostly) actors to portray doctors to claim it was healthy on TV commercials.

Apparently people watch TV commercials and don't read scientific journals, who would have ever thought that.

>If anything, hard water is beneficial for you
That's not quite true. Calcium and magnesium are both easy to obtain from food sources as well. The amount you get in water is trivial by comparison. Also, you can have too much of a good thing.

>>59018120
If you weren't a retard you would know that pubmed is an aggregate source. If you bothered to look at the original source for the information on that page you would see that it comes from the International Journal of Preventive Medicine

If you'd just read the study. It addresses that.
>To a large extent, individuals are protected from excess intakes of calcium by a tightly regulated intestinal absorption mechanism through the action of 1, 25-dihydroxy-vitamin D, the hormonally active form of vitamin D. Although, calcium can interact with iron, zinc, magnesium, and phosphorus within the intestine, thereby reducing the absorption of these minerals. On the other hand, the major cause of hypermagnesemia is renal insufficiency associated with a significantly decreased ability to excrete magnesium.[4] Increased intake of magnesium salts may cause a change in bowel habits (diarrhea).

I was mainly referring to the magnesium since it is possible to get too much magnesium purely through the foods we eat as well. I don't see it as benecial to have extra in my water. any correlation between magnesium intake and cardiovascular health is most likely the result of other factors which correlate strongly to diets high in magnesium. As an example, diets high in leafy greens or potatoes will be high in magnesium and most likely low in saturated fat or dietary cholesterol (two of the three main risk factors for atherosclerosis, which is basically what causes high blood pressure and overall poor cardiovascular health)

I'm Norwegian

Coca-Cola Company uses water from Glomma in their Bonaqua brand here. Glomma is a river where ships go and where people throw garbage into. Every spring the government issues warnings about drinking it or fishing from it (due to snow melting water carrying all sorts of shit into the river).

Other companies import shitty water from Spain and Germany.

Tap water here comes from dedicated lakes in the mountains, where any form of interaction with the water is strictly forbidden and they usually have guards and surveillance to ensure this. Some other places uses water from underground sources, which is even more clean.

Great sample size retard. Also, their base assertion that calcium intake is related to calcium kidney stones is invalid. Calcium kidney stones develop in patients who are dehydrated, consume excess salt, excess protein, or excess oxalate. Under normal conditions our body is perfectly capable of handling calcium at least up to 1g/day

Where I live the tap water comes from a fresh water lake up in the mountains, the lake is protected by our EPA so farms in the area aren't allowed to expand or use artificial fertilizer.
Currently they don't even hold livestock.

The water gets treated in a state of the art plant, first being filtered, then chlorinated, then UV treated, and then filtered again in order to remove the chlorine. The plant is a public utility so you're free to visit within business hours.

Unlike shitholes our water isn't reused, it'll even cost more to recycle it than use the lake.
Meaning all water flushed down the drain/zink alongside shitwater is eventually combined at one of several treatment plants, where it's filtered, chlorinated, UV treated, chemically treated and sludge removed and used as fertilizer. The treated remains are flushed out into the ocean at a depth of 80m, far away from bathing/fishing areas.

This applies for most if not all of Norway. And where it doesn't apply, the people pump their own groundwater.

>Coca Cola gets the water from the same government-owned purifying facilities that also provide tap water. In other words, it's the same fucking water as hundred thousand people get in their fucking tap.
It's the same here in Sweden. Water purifying facilities are semi-state owned (gov pays private actors to do the job and lease them the property and the facility) and CC pays our gov money to get water from there so they can bottle it.

Actually the water in Ukraine is OK. Generally tap water is shit in hot and humid countries like India or African nations where malaria is widespread and shitting on the streets is something that actually happens (does not happen in eastern Europe). Ukraine has clean mountain rivers and no dangerous bugs to speak of.
I'm not from the Ukraine but I visited.
Also bottled water is usually not any better than tap in countries that actually have some control over the water supply. It's just placebo.
