Do you think it's good for a programmer to learn russian?

Most russians that learn English and programming do so to have a better chance to escape their hellhole country, almost exactly like indians. Take a hint from that.

Most people learn english so they can learn programming because technical terms are so poorly expressed in other languages.
Don't even try to read documentation in other languages, it's pure shit.

It's good for anyone to learn as much foreign languages as possible. It shakes your brain and teaches you to organize your thoughts different way.
Bonus points if language you want to learn is from the completely different family, so russian is good choice. Same goes for chinese, jap, african speaches or even ancient dead languages like sanskrit btw.

Well, learning it just so you can explore 1C programming language alone does worth it. It's not used outside of slav countries, but the design choices and experience you get are priceless if you want to be a better programmer.
