The problem here is, if you're a parent worried about leaving your baby in the car, maybe you should be the type of parent to NOT leave your kid in the car rather than by a product in case you do. There is no technical design and it won't help because the interior air temperature gets too high (at about 100F you lose any cooling affect for blowing air over the skin because it is warmer than the body).

Now if it was something that detected a person was inside the car and turned the aircon on, then it might be worth something, but as it stands it will accomplish nothing. Just hyping a child's idea that isn't technically viable.

You can't cool a child by blowing hot air over it. Without a source of cooler air it won't accomplish anything. It would be just like blowing 100C air across your CPU heatsink. The air would heat the heatsink rather than cool it.

But I have already gone over why the cooling idea would be ineffective. Though if it actually had some way of cooling the air it might accomplish something, unlikely in a box that size without considerable power draw.

You could use a small-ish bottle of compressed air hidden somewhere under the seats to cool down the interior of the car to tolerable temperatures for a couple dozen minutes. It would simply push the hot air outside and replace it with the cold, freshly expanded air. Sure, during a summer blaze it takes very little time for the air to re-heat from all the surfaces absorbing the sunlight, but it would probably keep the ambient temperature non-life-threatening for a while longer.

It's still a fucktarded idea though.
