try running your ram sticks one by one in memtest, you'll have to open the back of your laptop of course to take them out.
touch some big metal object befor you open it (to discharge static electricity)
Then you should find the faulty one, take it out, go on ebay and order a new set of ddr2 so-dimm. 4gb sets are pretty cheap now, just make sure its DDR2 so-dimms.

That machine is ancient, Replace the RAM
>>59002813
Go back in time to prevent yourself from buying an Alienware.
>>59002813
Take your RAM out, put it back in, run the memtest again. If it still fails, >>59002909
>>59002813
Test one RAM chip at a time.
Then swap locations, test again
Test all RAM again
Reset BIOS to defaults
Turn off any profiles, or overlocks
Update BIOS
This is also like the 3rd Alienware of that generation that I saw fail RAM test that badly. I think with the 2 previous that I had experience with it was actually bad ram.
