Yeah you can set up some pretty nice adblocking with DDRT.

I use the firewall script: http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Ad_blocking

Love it, every device in the house is a smooth ride.
>>

i'm browsing on that site, it works!

Only the biggest jew sites use adblock detector. Don't use those sites. That simple.
>>
>>58996130

LATimes uses it:

http://www.latimes.com/business/hollywood/la-fi-ct-brad-grey-paramount-exit-20170217-story.html

Also CBS:

>>
>>58996050

This tells you a lot about the news organization you're interacting with. If they have an anti ad block filter it means they don't care about bringing news to the public in order to help them.

All they care about is making a shekel. If there's no way they can get a shekel from you they will literally block you from viewing their content because you're useless to them.
>>
It's a "Stop using my site" message.

Just stop using the site if they block adblock.
Fuck them.
>>
>>58996050

What's the point of a site that blocks you for using an adblocker?

I mean, OP, at least ask the question correctly.

Answer: boycott any site that engages in that activity. I do. Don't miss anything.

I have a 100% custom filter, about 300 filters for about 200 unique domains. Any ad that pops up or under, any ad that autoplays a sound or video file, any ad that uses an epilepsy-inducing GIF ... all of them get their domain blocked at the root.

Such as: http://*.advertising. com/ (an actual real site in my filter).

Everything from images to content to frames to scripts are nuked because that site kept auto-playing videos with sound while I was surfing the internet trying to listen to music. Their autoplaying sound came screaming through my speakers and raped my ears about twice ... took about one minute to locate the originating domain and haven't seen (or heard!) a single pixel of their content in over four years now (over 120,000 blocked hits so far).

I mean .. Jesus fucking Christ. Try to comprehend an advertising server that hits your browser 30,000 times a year during casual browsing of websites. And, that's just one of the machines I use. Of fucking course that domain is permablackholed.

Have two *.doubleclick.net filters that have 105,000 hits on one and 143,000 hits on the other.

Feels Pretty Fucking Good.

Did you remember to install GreaseMonkey/TamperMonkey and the userscript as well? Because it needs the userscript to work properly.

It's frequently updated. It works very, very often.

If it doesn't work on a site, just close the tab.
>>
>>58996050
uBlock Origin doesn't have this problem
>>
>>58998100
I have no problems on CBS but on LATimes they introduce some css that hides overflow that you need to make a userstyle to override as well as adding the overlay to your custom filters.
>>
>>58996050
Another solution is to put the site you want to read in an archive.

https://archive.fo/

My ad blocker + script blocker works most of the time. I feel like 4 or 5 times out of a year I hit a site where I need to dig into "devtools". And if a simple delete-element doesn't do the trick, then I turn to the archive.

Actually clicking on the ads like adnauseam costs the advertizers money with no benefit. It"s the equivalent of taking your local car dealerships offer of free test drives up until they go bankrupt because they can't pay for gas any more.
>>
>>58996050
Stop visiting shit sites or use µBlock origin and it's anti-antiadblock. Even Google's sites let you use adblock and Google is primarily an advertising company.

Literally in the paper they link on their homepage about TMN which they seem to be based on. Nowhere did I see it mentioned that it acts as a proxy.

So I mean if you want to get rekt any more, just let me know. I'll be here waiting on (you)s
>>

It's actually forked from ublock Origin now. Continue embarrassing yourself, please. I haven't loled at a cuck like u in days :3

Still had to reenable that extension and manually update in google chrome.
>>
I'm so happy adnauseam is being shilled whenever anyone mentions ads or tracking, soon we'll reach critical mass

And if you think "tracking by ip" is a thing, get a fucking VPN you stupid nigger
>>
>>59000894
>>59000884
Also, to help your obvious lack of reading comprehension: TMN stands for TrackMeNot, which is a Google seach obfuscator. It sends out crap google searches in an attempt to hide your actual search terms in a sea of junk.

It literally has nothing to do with AdNauseam, other than being by the same developers and copying the principle of crapflooding;

Feels good to know things, does it not, Jordan?
>>
>>59000894
So where's it mentioned that it acts as a proxy?

https://github.com/dhowe/AdNauseam/wiki/FAQ

PROTIP: you won't find where because it sends the requests from your own machine
>>
>>58996061
This.
Just remember which ones doesn't work with adblock and stop giving them pageviews from accidental clicks
it's mostly only news websites which block adblocker and news websites are not even professional journalists anymore they just write yellow journalism and propaganda for the most part why would you pay for that bullshit fake news?
>>
>>59000933
Yes, it registers a click, then discards all data it gets in return. It doesn't matter, because all tracking is based on cookies and javascript, both of which are ignored by adnauseam. Try again, google shill.
>>
>>59000917
>using a browser made by an adware company

>>59000933
Because that is the fundamental principle of an adblocker. It doesn't need explaining, dear friend.

Your browser <-> Adblocker <-> Web

That/ s how it works.
>>
>>59000945
>>59000946
>be ad company
>place ads on 2 websights
>ad clicked on by $IP on each sight
>that's monetizable data - that a user visits both sights

you guys are such morans I cannot even understand why you don't get this
>>
>>59000955
>it also turns out that the same ip visits every single website
>it's also true for thousands of other IPs

Poisoned data set is worse than no data set at all, anon, that's the point of the plugin. To waste money and introduce noise.
>>
>>58996050
I have Firefox with GreaseMonkey and Reek's Anti-Adblock Killer installed. If I enter forbes.com I can navigate without problem. But if I google something and then, by a google link, I enter forbes.com, I may have problems rolling the site.
>>
>>59000964
But you're still volunteering to be in the botnet and there's no proxy functionality.

unless said website is offering me a download and is holding it ransom behind an adblock detector i wouldn't think twice about closing the tab and moving on with my time.

Is Ad Nauseam detectable by the anti-adblockers?

Since Ad Nauseam actually loads the ad, I imagine that it would be immune to anti-adblocking sites. Or am I wrong about that?
>>
Get the anti-adblock list for unlocking code k origin
>>
>>58996050
Install the YesScript addon, and blacklist javascript on any website that does that.
>>
>>59000596
Yes, I've been using it for a while, but the lists are outdated and you'll have to update them.
>>
>>59003040
It could be immune to anti-adblockers. But not due to the reasons you think.

Anti ad-blocking is really simple. Most Adblockers use filters like EasyList. EasyList will block stuff like scripts called "advertising.js". So what happens? Sites are broken and unusable by default. But that script "advertising.js" unfucks the site and makes it usable again.
So Adblock-users will block that script that would make the site usable again.
