My man, I'm at 4.0 solid at 1.232v vcore so you can definitely drop your voltage and subsequently temps too. Going to replace the H50 soon and hopefully get 4.5 out of it but 4.4 requires 1.45v and the temps are ridiculous. Still a pretty solid platform and I can see it lasting me a good few years.

My x5650 was hitting 4.5ghz at 1.5v and it barely beat my 5820k at stock. The idle power consumption was around 250w. I live on the east coast us so that's about $.25 every hour I leave that shit idle/torrenting.

So I said fuck that.
