Is there a note taking program that is not utter shit (not like pic related)?
It would have to exist as a web app, as a desktop program, as a phone app. Each would produce content readable by one another without loss.
It would have to support math notation.
It would have to be synced in - but not depend on - the cloud.
What about latex documents synced through the cloud?

Google keep does that AFAIK, but the math notation thingy.
>>58992454
Could they be edited in a browser, from a school computer without having to install anything?
>>58992467
Well I need math notation.
>>58992499
I'd argue it supports doodling/touch writing but I don't think those cut it for you.
Good luck, share if you find anything.

Besides that, Google Keep has very few features. It's great for shopping lists, but it isn't enough to take notes in class (at minimum: emphasis and headers).
Emacs org-mode
yellow sticky notes
amazing application. Anyone ever use it before? i love it
>>58992856
I need rich text.
>>58992479
sure. first version of latex was realised in 1985, you can write latex code on a fucking PowerBook 100 from 1991 using the built in text editor

> Pen and paper
Even though it lacks a proper search mode, and the fonts installed might not always look the best. Its still vastly superior to any other
>>58992479
Obviously. You just need a plain text editor and compile it from a machine with a latex compiler later.
>>58992917
I will look into Latex thanks.

My font sucks, my writing speed is shit, so no.
>>58993040
>my writing speed is shit
That's the beauty. It will get better
>>58993066
Well I'm taking notes on paper like a faggot since my first day in school, so it would have gotten better by now.
