I picked up this Emerson 5" CRT at the thrift store today and wanted to know if there is a way to input signal from something like a VCR or game console. It only has a 3.5mm jack for and external antenna. Is there an adapter that would work?
I'm not sure if something like this would work or not since it doesn't have any kind of selectable input

I'm not super sure, but i think you can. You need a 3.5mm jack to coax converter, and a coax to rca converter (expensive). Good luck

That wouldn't work. RCA is a different signal type, you need a converter

Ok I rember and old Hitachi I had a coax to RCA conveter. I wonder if I would have to have the dial set to a certain frequency to see the input
Maybe something like this OP?

There are plenty of VCRs and the like that had RF modulators built-in, no component needed.
Or shit, you could probably get a digital converter box or some other cheap media center piece that will handle it all as well.
my tv had the same jack and it came with one of these that pluged into the jack with the antenna looking icon
Get a VCR with RF output and AV input. Hell my old JVC was like that.

So you can remove the antenna, get something like this http://herculesworkshop.com/images/d/4717/003-11.JPG and then connect it to where the antenna connects. After that, you can then hook up an RCA converter or an HDMI converter or something.
LGR did something like this, as viewed here...
