It probably will break filevault2 on a clover. Which is just barely working now afrer 5 years of development.
It might also mess up timemachine backups via netatalk. And there is still no timemechine compatible samba for linux.

What the fuck forcing this is people going to be a windows 10 level of disaster. I personally love just dragging and dropping files from linux mint to my iphone6 using the afc2 and ilibmobiledevice and ifuse libraries.
