Bought a recent MBP and can't use any extensive audio equipment because I'd need a dongle to use it, and doing that adds a bit of latency to whatever I plug it into.

Then I got a work iphone 7 and its only use so far has been a paperweight that makes calls.

My company just through $5000+ into a trashcan full of apples.

thing was fried after like a year. this was mid 2000's I care a lot more about build quality and design these days, was a 800 dollar lesson could have been worse

Many of the lower level audiophile memes were actually good but this thing even fitted with the recommended Russian tubes was a waste of money and excitement.

It's not a bad amp but I already had a solid DAC/amp combo unit and it renders this thing pointless. Sitting in my closet for about 5 years unused.
