What are the differences between a bottom of the line motherboard

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

What are the differences between a bottom of the line motherboard and a more expensive top of the line motherboard if both share the same socket, memory type and expansion slots?

Would I feel the performance being superior on one or another? How much noticeable would be? Or only benchmark programs would let me spot the performance differences?
Or is it just build quality that differs?
>>
just build quality, and additional ports and features.

no performance differences whatsoever
>>
There may be some slight differences in voltage management and thermal resistance, for example, a higher quality motherboard even though it uses the same chipset may be able to overclock the same CPU more reliably.
>>
chipset
overclocking capabilities
component quality
component cooling
better power regulation for the cpu
nvme or msata on the motherboard itself

>>58971000
the power phase, the fucking power phase for overclock
>>
>>58971289
can you give example where every point you listed becomes relevant?
>>
>>58971340
basically only for overclocking

As seen in this picture, the upgraded motherboards could have more potential for overclocking, letting you volt up without damaging the motherboard. If you arent overclocking, then you can also look at general reliability. A better quality capaciter is going to last longer without bursting.
Lastly, looking at QC. The cheaper boards might actually burn out other components if it is shit, making you loose your nice CPU or GPU.

>>58971340
overclocking
expansion ports
longevity of the components
and some of them have far easier to navigate BIOS than others

also the l337 ones now have a temp sensor displaying cpu temps right on the mobo, bios switches, so if you fuckup one you can press a button to switch to another.

That's a cute girl
Who is she?

Capacitors are absurdly cheap, there's no reason to spend an extra $150 to get the ULTRA EXTREME-GAMER edition of your motherboard unless you're a retard who cant fix the most basic of electronics, at which point you shouldn't be reading this post on this board

you're using that word wrong.

Definitely, better than many of the "modern women" out there.

Why not just glue a heatsink on there and direct some air into the general direction?

Can one of you who knows what you're talking about with this tell me if there are any advantages of getting the Gigablye Z270X-UD3 over the Z270XP-SLI? The former is $10 more expensive and the displayed stats on NewEgg are mostly the same except for a few differences in the fan headers.
