Uh oh you friggin moron, you just got beaned.

You have five (5) seconds to explain why you're still using this deprecated, slow, piece of shit browser from a piece of shit company when you could join the Iridium master race.

>Iridium
literally what?
>>
Because I have no idea how using it contributes to SJWism. What do they get from me using that gives them money?
>>
It just works.
>>
How the fuck it it slow? I've not noticed a difference between this and chrome.
>>
>>58969544
give mess a more open browser for windows, that's compatible with the modern web and has a lower level of botnet. until the web extensions arrive. firefox is the best everyday browser
>inb4 muh superius chrome/chromium
>inb4 muh hipster placebo forks
>inb4 muh linux foss alternatives
>>
Because every other browser is worse, especially Chrome. Next question.
>>
I would like to atleast use Iridium as secondary browser but it is hard when it FUCKING BREAKS HALF OF THE PAGES DUE TO UNTRUSTED SYMANTEC CERTS. This issue has been known for months, but devs seem to not give a single fuck. Also fuck off with your shill thread
>>
>>58969561
>How the fuck it it slow?

It's not. Most benchmarks might show it to be a few milliseconds slower at some workloads, but in real world use it's not slower at all.
>>
>it's another shill thread for a garbage browser

wew.
>>
Fireguestures. There is no good chrome equivalent.
>>
>>58969544
It's the best cross platform browser
>>
>>58969544
All you use it for though is to shitpost here and look for kiddy porn
>>
There's no equivalent to this in chromeland

because chrome doesn't need all that shit.
>>
>>58969971
Tell me how to make any Chrome clone resist browser fingerprinting and never send a single packet to Google. I'll wait
>>
>>58969544
because I can't make chrome function like this.
>>
>>58969990
That is so retarded.

>>58970012

>>
>>58969544
It doesnt crash.

how is clutter an issue if you can set it to only ungroup focused applications with multiple windows and you can use multiple desktops for different tasks if it does get too cluttered?
>>
>>58969930
Since they are gonna require Rust to build, no.
>>
>>58970054
Chromium is botnet, use Ungoogled-Chromium.
>>
>You have five (5) seconds to explain why you're still using this deprecated, slow, piece of shit, instead of that blob of crap called Iridium, which is actually steaming poo called chrome, hahahahaha
>>
>>58970783
Ungoogled-Chromium is botnet, use Vivaldi.
>>
>>58969544
I'm not, I'm using Nightly and IceCat as a backup if Nightly breaks
>>
I used to love Firefox, but last time i updated it, it started slowing down my system (im on linux btw), and sometimes websites freeze. Also, i experienced the first firefox crash in over a year, and right after that update too hmm really makes you think.
i wish they would stop changing stuff that was working perfectly fine.
>>
>>58969971
>chrome doesn't need all that shit.

Lol

I'm posting this again from the other browser thread. for whatever reason the most recent update thought it was a good idea to enable multi processes. for those who are experiencing slow/laggy as fuck performance use this.

>Type about:config in the browser's address bar.
>Confirm that you will be careful.
>Search for browser.tabs.remote.autostart.
>Double-click on the preference.

>>
>>58969544
No official prebuilt package and I have to compile by myself. And I use Icecat and Vivaldi, then what?
>>
>>58970917
Hey thanks for the info and the link. I hope that will fix everything, would be awesome. Just one question: on my config page, i have two "browser.tabs.remote.autostart". One of them says "standard" and false, and the other one says "set by user" and true.
i assume i have to set the "set by user" one to false?
>>
>>58970024
This image is clearly a shitpost.
>>
>>58970982
No prob and yes, set them both to false.

It just happened out of no where. Pages/tabs wouldn't even load or it would just show a pure white screen with a loading gif in the middle. but with those disabled my firefox is back to normal, slightly quicker than before almost.
>>
>>58969544
Better extensions than chrome desu.
>>
>>58969544
>iridium
>not ungoogled-chromium
>>
>>58970825
It's botnet by default since it's proprietary.
>>
>>58971134
Not for long.
>>
>>58970988
t. cheq_mate
>>
>>58969544
it just works
it has occasional plugins for rare case scenarios
it does not fuck with me
firefox support forum is a thing, apart from, say, chrome
>>
These blatant anti-Firefox shill threads are actually making me want to go back to Firefox
>>
>>58971433
Good goy

all goes according to plan
