With employee accommadations I have the opportunity to buy an HP Omen gaymin laptop for 500 USD. Has a 6700 and a gtx 1050 worth 1 grand.

I don't do gaymin at all, would it be worth it to buy and sell it for profit? I don't need a new laptop and I'll be getting a new Surface Book worth $1,600 for free from Microsoft.

I guess so, I mean it's only $850 retail so selling on ebay and everything after fees you'll probably only make $100, but its better than nothing.
