Hi /g/
Long time member of the PC mustard race here, I've recently started experiencing pain in my mouse hand when playing games, particularly since I've started regularly playing CS:GO again.
I'm worried it might be the start of RSI and was wondering if you guys had any advice on how to reduce it before it becomes a problem.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg... and my arm... even my fingers. The body I've lost... the comrades I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there. You feel it, too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past.

Strengthen your hand muscles through the act of masturbation.

Rubbing our noses in bloody battlefield dirt. All for revenge.
Immediately stop when it hurts, take anti NSAID drugs to reduce inflammation and start strength training to reduce your risk of injury.

s/anti/anti inflammatory/
How are you holding your mouse? If your not holding it properly your probably bound to hurt yourself.

Really triggers me when people think that holding a mouse will cause tendonitis and arthritis.
Your shit atrophies because you are a lazy faggot with bad genes and you need to build that shit up to prevent injury that causes the pain.
Holding a fucking mouse isn't going to injure you.

how about the obvious answer and take a break for a day or two, do hand stretches.
>here's your mouse, bro
I've made my set up a bit more ergonomic and noticed a difference pretty much straight away. I'm sitting much closer to the desk now and my forearms are fully on the desk rather then above it, with the fold of my wrist taking the strain. Feels a bit weird but better then acute arthritis

I bought this exact mouse a few months ago.
Unfortunately the quality is shit since it already starts to do unwanted double-clicks.

Unfortunately, I've already become accustomed to stimulating myself with my left hand, ironically so I can simultaneously use a mouse and doubly ironically as I now prefer to operate my computer with the keyboard instead of the mouse where possible.
Time for a tolerance break. I've had to quit dota 2 many times for many months to let everything heal up and relax

Oh, shit. That's a good idea.
I love my Anker vertical mouse for browsing and work - cheap too -, but gaming with this shit sensor is arguably even worse than having RSI
