What's the best laptop cooling fan to buy?
My X220 overheats a lot even after I replaced the thermal paste. The room I work in is very hot due to air conditioning.

I bought a laptop cooling fan for my t510 and it made no difference at all.
All you can do is modify the cooling system itself. I wish there was more like... Third party higher quality drop in coolers for laptops.

buy a 1/2" slab of aluminum from an online metal store. it will act as a huge heat sink and you won't need fucking noisy fans.

It's already on an old broken MacBook Pro.

You could just drill holes into the laptop to act as vents in the sides. Sometimes it has to be done.

You actually think it's appropraite to make an entire thread because your 14-year-old ass needs a fucking laptop cooling pad.
This is the most mundane shit I've ever seen just fucking buy one they're like $10.
I'll make sure to consult /g/ next time I need a fucking usb extension cable while im at it
Go fuck yourself.
Put it in the fridge every now and then
Google that shit bud.

the heatspreader is bent/unlevel, or the heat pipe has failed. replace the fan assembly.
buy a Dell Latitude, they don't overheat
