going to reset my mac, backing up stuff to amazon drive now, want a total reset, kinda want to try a new os, do i dual boot ubuntu? is there a virtualizing os like vmesxi i should use? or do i use a grub boot loader? it is a 2011 MacBook air with 200gb of hard drive and 4 gb of ram, i want a setup for growing skills in programming... i might just do a clean reset and start using vmware more... any other options? i think i want a more super streamlined bare metal type os, can anybody help me?
if i download something like a hypervisor, freebsd, something like that, can i have various os's isolated, like windows and OS X and ubuntu? i am looking for the best way to manage something like this with the limited specs the machine offers
would you hypervise me /g, provide me with some hypervision? good looks
bump anyone want to help? lol
