Well then, if you can generate numbers that can get past a simple algorithm check some websites may accept it and try to charge but as long as it not actually an active number I see no harm, still might be classified as fraud though. I'd figure most sites would atleast have some other check to see if its an active card like try to have a 1 cent transaction or something

In the end, you are still knowingly charging someone else for your purchases. Whether you do this with black magic or programming, it's still illegal.
