Im looking to purchase a laptop between $380-500. Im not planning on playing games (i would rather build a pc for that), only using it for school work, rosetta stone and movies. Something portable and mobile. What is a good brand to go with? Im considering Acer, Asus or Lenovo.
>rosetta stone

Get a used thinkpad. X/T230, or 220 if you're autistic about the keyboard. 10+ hours battery life, more than enough power to meet your needs, and only $200.

X230/T430, I mean. (I prefer the X models due to size, but either is great)

Chromebook Pixel 2013 for $350. If it doesn't do enough, you can install Linux.
