op, once youve patched using Universal Theme Patcher, you have to put the themes in the correct folder. windows\resources\themes, after which you have to use the themed explorer.exe

most likely to rename original explorer.exe (so you can move the themed one over) youre going to have to take ownership of it, through properties and security tab.

This isn't necessary, you only need to put the themes in the right folder, go to personalize, and choose whichever you want. Changing navigation icons and such can also be done right from the theme folder.
