Do you drink and eat at your PC?
Why and why not? Personally as a desktop owner I do. But I wouldn't if I was on a laptop. Keyboards and mice are cheap, is why. If you spill you're out maybe 200 bucks, if you spill on a laptop it could cost you 10 times that.

Yes.
Because I don't learn after spilling coffee and soda into my laptops frying them and it gives me an excuse to buy a new one.
I always start a video or open a long article. That way I don't need to touch the keyboard/mouse. I absolutely loate greasy peripherals.
I drink and eat. I've never spilled any beverage on any of my peripherals. And when I'm eating something, I always eat above the plate.
Distracted eating is a one-way ticket to obesity.

I tried eating at the table the other day. It was super boring.

It's really disgusting to hear other people eat

I'm a desktop owner. My desk isn't too full, it's one of those L shaped desks, so I usually do drink or eat. I don't keep shit around though, because this place happens to have a kitchen.
Still eating alone at the kitchen staring at walls, while maybe more hygienic, seems like a waste of time, specially when you can be still clean about it near a PC. I don't spill shit and if I accidentally do, time to clean up.

Bullshit. Eating shit, eating between hours, not doing exercise, all those can be a problem. Watching TV, youtube or a /g/ thread while eating are not exactly more of a problem than just sitting and eating.
I eat and drink at my computer daily at work and at home sometimes and I've never ruined electrics by spilling fluids, I usually pull my keyboard up abit and keep cups on the left side of keyboard so I don't nock it over with the mouse
