I am a technoautist, learned what bluetooth was last year. I live in linux.
I decided I needed to switch to a smartphone from my old flip phone
Short, which one should I buy ? I don't know anything about smartphone. Budget is around 200$ and I want it to last 3/4 years

you don't need a smartphone, don't listen to the consumerists on this board.
I "upgraded" from Android to a Blackberry Classic just for the keyboard. The browser and noapps keeps me from wasting my time.
Save for the 3T, currently the fastest smartphone to date.
Get a cheap $20 android phone like a moto e while you save enough for a 3T.

Are you sure you want Google/Apple logging your location every moment of your life? You've already consented if you use location for anything on it.

What do you want to use it for? The best all-around choice is unironically an older iPhone (you can probably get a second-hand 4S for $200 or less).

I need it so I can read in bed like my gf is doing, when I am at her place I steal her phone all the time.

I have had the same routine for months, at that point it will not change anything

>learned what bluetooth was last year
jesus christ how behind are you
99% of smart phones are trash
You're best bet is an old Galaxy S3 or S4 and then putting a custom ROM on it

Which is why I specifically advised you to get a cheap $20 android phone until you save enough for a 3T.
Example of a cheap but good $20 android phone:

You specifically asked for a phone that would last you a good 3/4 years and the 3T is that phone. A $200 phone will last you 1-1.5 years at best.
Remember: good things come to those who wait.
