I find windows 7 is fine and has great granularity for end users, stable enough, runs most programs even today, but ultimately lacks bash. To each their own.

Most of my users over 25 do not intend on using Windows 8 or 10, prefer 7, do not like OSX, and there is no way in hell they could use Linux as a primary OS.

Also I really feel as though if you are in public with a laptop using Linux you are hipster, poor, or up to no good(Kali with throwaway USBs and USB adapters). Why do you need to be in public with your computer? Lol, are you a Starbucks book writer?
