What's the best Windows OS? 7, 8.1, or 10?

Not falling for that meme boys.
I personally didn't see a difference between 7 and 8.1, but I'm told that the latter can be slightly better performing. Maybe it's more obvious if you aren't running fast components.
/r/pcmasterrace called, they want you back

Install Linux XD
They're all the same, really. All of them are mediocre. It's personal preference.
I'd say not to use 8.1, may as well use 7 or 10. 8.1 really has a crap interface.

Having used both as my main OS for a bit of time, the biggest benefit I can find in 8.1 is better support for full-screen applications. In b4 gaymer bashing.

Classic Shell. Solves all problems.

Real answer: they're more or less the same. W10 adds quite a lot over 7 and is more or less a well done 8.1.
8.1 bothers me just a lot because it's a frankenstein between metro and start.

Except for spying in w10

But why would you use 8.1 with classic shell if windows 10 actually has more features? You may as well stick on 7.

All closed-source OSes spy. You cannot use spying as a reason to not use Windows 10: only as a reason to not use Windows.

Windows 7 is outdated
Windows 10, if by features you mean spyware and malware, yes, they have that too.

Good that's what I don't use windows
Win95
I use win7 even in my vms. Win8 and 10 are aids. Glad i had a vtd cpu on haswell since gpu passthru allowed me to switch.

Everyone should use 8.1. Why? Pic related. Always base your OS of choice by how hot the OS tan is.
