The difference between these field monitors and the cheap android is the monitor is just a monitor with an hdmi input, it has no os, processor, camera, memory, which compare to having a video controller shouldnt cost less. I've never seen ads or bloatware problematic in any of these cheap tablets. I can see tablets can be cheaper because the demands are high and most tards would rather use a tablet than using an hdmi monitor with a pi or something like that.
