Is Microsoft Continuum / Samsung DeX the future of consumer computing, /g/?
Don't think so, people who has monitors have already windows computers, no one stores a useless monitor they don't use
if it'll be a "famous" thing andromium would be the "future" since there isn't any brand limitation, unlike Jewsoft or Jewsung
Yes once Superbook clones come out.

No, but a version of it may possibly be the future.
Nobody wants to use Samsung's android OS for work. However nobody wants to use Windows phones.
If apple made a continuum-like device, either iPad or iPhone based, it could be successful in making those devices proper PC competitors. Of course it would have to be an OS more like macOS rather than iOS purely for mouse functionality and library of actually useful applications (xcode, adobe, whatever you use on your mac).

Once Windows phones support old applications, it might take off. Apple said they won't merge Mac OS and iOS.

The main problem with using a windows phone as a windows PC, is the fact that literally nobody compiles PEs for ARM.

Hopefully whoever is designing the 'dock' isn't the same designers as the apple pencil, magic mouse, iphone battery case, or mac pro.
