All I ask for is a tiny GNU/Linux computer.
Why can't they get their shit together?
OpenMoko was shit and died. FireFoxOS died. SailfishOS died. No UMPCs with real keyboards on the market.

Look, I'm not going to deny the less-than-stellar real-world track record of crowdfunding, but I don't know where you expect them to get money to actually complete their project without people pre-ordering.

How do you think that happened? Magic cash fairies? No, brainiac, projects had to get funding from venture capital or private funds, and in doing so, were beholden to provide ROI and generally cater to the lowest common denominator in order to make as much money as possible. This is how we ended up with all the current products that freetards *don't* like, which is why open-source crowdfunding projects exist in the first place.
All I want is nu-Nokia to buy Jolla back and continue where they left pre-Elop
